In February, hearts and minds turn to *LOVE* and red and white touches are everywhere, including in home decor.
That may not be your first “go-to” color scheme when planning your decor, but what a fun way to brighten up your home during dark and dreary winter days.
White is clean and classic and against it nothing shouts out more cheerfully than RED.
A red piano? Why not?
In the above photo the red and white decor transitions right from the “holidays” into “Valentine’s day.” It’s that easy!
Red works in all sorts of rooms; this dining room by Sarah Richardson uses cheerful red decor in a non-traditional way.
And even outside the home, this porch? I’ll take it.
If you aren’t ready to commit to a full-time red & white room, a little pop of red can go a long way.
In my house, we have just a hint of red inside our front door. A bit unexpected.
So what do you think about Red & White in decor? Is it just for February or does it work year round? What do you think?
