I’m obsessed with Fall, and I love Fall decor. However, the orangey-reds of Fall don’t really suit my blue-gray-beige house. I’ve always been on the lookout for Fall decor that works with my house’s colors, but years have passed, and I’ve still come up empty handed!

This year, I decided to make my own with the help of some metallic spray paint!

I went to my local dollar store and picked up 5 small orange & white foam pumpkins.

They had little sticks in them, so I just bent them back and forth and they pulled right out.

Since the red/yellow colors of the pumpkins didn’t suit my needs, I reached for my trusty metallic silver spray paint and went to town! Using Rustoleum’s Chrome Metallic Finish Spray Paint, I sprayed the tops and sides of each pumpkin and then let them dry for 10 minutes.

Once dry, I flipped them over and coated the underside.

After allowing them to completely dry for a full 30 minutes, I brought them inside and admired my new metallic pumpkins!

I want to eventually use them as a centerpiece for the dining room table I am currently working on restoring. So, I raided my kitchen and got one of my simple white porcelain serving platters ($5.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond) and then added some glass pebbles to put underneath the pumpkins.

I was able to get an entire bag full of those glass pebbles at the Dollar Store for $1, too! SCORE!

Since my dining table was still under construction, I went around the house finding other places to display my little pumpkins. Turns out, they look great everywhere!!
