I’m not sure if it’s the unseasonably cooler weather (63 in Atlanta in August!) or the school buses pulling up outside our home, but I am completely craving fall this year.  And one of my favorite fall neccessities in Fashion is the addition of rich Camel colored accessories.  A great leather bag, a killer pair of boots… The addition of camel instantly adds a layer of timeless appeal to any ensemble.  Well the same is true for interiors, & I am craving these golden brown hues more than ever right now!

Desire to Inspire

These tones work with a multitude of interiors from modern to traditional, & when done in moderation (not the matching barcalounger & reclining sofas!) they really bring a fantastic layer into any space.  I actually have one of these chairs (in our attic!) in black & am dreaming of the day I can have it re strapped in a baseball glove shade.

Another great feature about camel colored leathers is how well they age!  Even if there is a stain or a scratch it tends to add more character to the piece instead of destroying it.  Perfect choice for an area that gets lots of love be it a dining area or a favorite chair.

Metropolitan Home

One of my favorite applications is when it is mixed with a neutral surrounding.  The cognac coloring comes off more sophisticated than bachelor pad.  You ladies know what I am talking about!  Black can come off a little severe (and cheap if not done correctly) and don’t get me started on the hunter greens & burgundy varieties… When in doubt & desiring the lush look of leather,  go for a mid-toned brown.  This will always be in style.

Here are a few of my go to Camel Colored Leather Pieces of the moment.  A few of which have been included recently in my client’s projects!
