Is there a cure? A remedy? Well, I asked several moms from the Parties for Pennies facebook page how they handled it, & here’s what they had to say…
“I have 2 kids (4 and 18 months) and was in a rut with cooking. A friend and I each prepared 10 meals and we spent the day preparing them. We each got one of everything, so now my freezer is stocked with 20 meals (plus a few I did on my own). Now I can just pull out what I want in the morning and it’s ready for dinner. Lots of crock pot meals and new recipes. So excited for the month!”
“Isn’t that why Little Caesars created the Hot and Ready $5 pizzas that you can get through the DRIVE through!?”

“Getting the kids to help with menu planning was a huge help. Had them scour the grocery store ads and coupons to match them up, figure out what we’d need, etc.—taught them a lot in the process, as well.”
Karin Menke Dronenburg
“Pinterest…and my continuous recipe board I’ll even look to see what ingredients I have and then search specifically for recipes with those items in them. Great for menu updates!”
