I am sure that like me, many of you out there are sick and tired of winter. A few spring touches will help you get in the spirit and might just hurry up and maybe even get the warm weather here faster. Well, we can hope!

I recently went through my home, adding spring touches where I could to beat the ‘winter blues’. In my home office, I updated my desk with some colorful touches, including fresh flowers and a quick custom monogram in an inexpensive frame. The spring touches make it a happier place to work while daydreaming of warm days to come.

Across from my desk, I added this print from Craftberry Bush for something pretty to look at.

In our dining room, I created a fun and fresh tablescape using one of my favorite color combinations–pink and navy. I added fresh flowers and some spring accents–I am fond of bird themes in my decor at any time but they seem particularly fitting in early spring.

In our kitchen, where we spend most of our time, a functional boot tray by the door catches what gets tracked in from spring showers and adds a fun pop of yellow to our blue doormat.

And in our breakfast room I added some spring-colored cookbooks on our console and moved around some pillows and my favorite lovebirds plate.

Also on the console, fresh {ok, faux} greenery adds a spot of color along with yet another bird-themed plate.

I pulled out my most “spring” like cleaning materials, they add a pretty touch to a hard-working area. It’s easy to overlook functional areas like this, but decorating them makes everyday tasks much more enjoyable.

I change the decor in my Living Room seasonally, so it was time to move the wintery gray decor out, and the fresh pale blue pillows and throws in to the room for the season. They will stay throughout summer, until Fall arrives and calls for more neutral decor.

You can see how we lightened up our fireplace in the room HERE, painting over the dark brick immediately brought a lighter feel to the room. I added my lighter weight throws and stowed away the heavy winter ones till next year.

A few Easter touches, like eggs in a bowl, are a reminder that spring is finally here!

Adding a few spring printables is another easy way to bring the feel of spring into your decor. You can download this print via LollyJane HERE for a beautiful spring touch.

How have you added spring touches to your home? I hope its getting warm where you are!
